Sid’s Story Sid, who prefers to be known as ‘CEO Sid’, was spotted on the shoulder by the Hollywood exit of the 101 Freeway in March 23. He was comfortably seated, watching rush hour traffic collect around him as if his presence there was intentional, but we knew better. Operation rescue involved, car scaling, the jumping of the large wall to the rear of the 101, and an extra-large cat carrier which Sid begrudgingly entered when he fathomed there was no better option. Sid was safe but grumpy! We looked high and low for Sid’s family, feeling he was a cat who had been used to home comforts and belly rubs, but to no avail. Slowy we begun to like the idea that he might become ours and as his grumpiness dispersed, we realized he felt the same and he went from being called Freeway Boy, to Sid!
